There is a possibility to edit products or categories directly from the website frontend when they are coming from external ERP system like Uniconta, C5, Navision, e-Conomic and others.

 

Adding components

 

First you have to Add components to the Uniconta object. To do that go to SEEEMS backoffice, find the Uniconta object and add the following two components to it:

 

  • Uniconta Category Data Updater
  • Uniconta Product Data Updater

 

 

 

 

Save them and go to ProductDisplay object.

In Overview tab of ProductDisplay object you will see Edit Category Button and Edit Product Button checkboxes. In order to Edit the ERP Categories and Products directly on the website, the corresponding properties have to be checked.

 

 

 

After this is done go to website front office.

 

Editing ERP Categories/Products directly on the website

 

To do that you have to be logged into the system and to have Administrator or Moderator role. After you are logged in you will see an edit button on every category or product on the website. Click on it and a popup window will appear with the corresponding properties that can be edited. After you make the changes don’t forget to click on the Save button.

 

 

That’s it. Pretty easy, right 😊
